It’s Been A While

It’s been a while since I’ve updated my blog… in 2021 when everything started to open back up I lost sight of keeping up with my blog, business and a couple other things I had set out to do. The shutdown made us spend so much time with our families and when everything began opening I let go of many things, except being present with my husband and kids. They remained my highest priority because it seemed that we got to spend ‘less’ time together and got occupied with other things.

So much has happened in the last 2 years. Today, I will get you all caught up with the important things.

In 2021 my eldest started kindergarten! There is much to say about this, but to keep it short no one told me that finding a school that would be fit for our family would be so hard! We are blessed to have found a great community and she has met some amazing friends, with wonderful families.

In her first year, she also missed SO MUCH school because we were traveling frequently to Northern California because my grandmother was ill.

On December 13, 2021 my lovely, abuelita was called home. This was one of the toughest losses I have ever experienced. She was the matriarch of the family. One of the women’s shoulders I stand on today.

Ministry has always been a HUGE part of our lives and our former Pastor retired. We were blessed to learn about faithfulness to God and the church. He dedicated his life to serving the Lord and continues to serve Him now.

Now that we are under new pastorship the learning continues. It has definitely kept us busy, but that’s a good thing. That means more people are closer to God.

Fast forward to 2022 our youngest girl started pre-k and she’s thriving! She even cries on the days she doesn’t have class and I sobbed on the first day she went.

Between those two years it was trying to pick up where we left off before 2020. I would really like to include a million more moments, people, and places into this post but these are the highlights. As I look ahead into 2023, I am looking forward to see what God has in store for us!

Thank you for being here and being part of this story.
