Olivia’s Birthday Parade

This year we celebrated Olivia’s third birthday in Covid fashion by hosting a drive thru for friends and family. I can’t wait to have real gatherings and spend time with everyone.

When we started to plan Olivia’s birthday it was a no brainer her party would be Trolls themed.

She loves to dance. Hug. Sing. Dance. Hug. Sing… Poppy is on our playlist on our drives and I pretty much have the lyrics down for both movies ha! Her first request is always, Trolls Just Want to Have Fun.

Birthdays in our family are a big deal. They’re important milestones and a blessing to reach. So we celebrate to the best of our ability because our child’s smiles are worth it.

Day of, the only thing against us was the wind. It kept blowing everything away and I didn’t end up putting anything Trolls related. Except maybe the rainbow balloon arch that took us forever to put up because of the wind was not settling.

We also put up a metallic fringe curtain behind the balloon arch to make it brighter. A big metallic number three balloon and a gold table cover. I also purchased a birthday yard sign. We used bright colors because our girl is loud and proud.

Like any party, there had to be food. My husband grilled hotdogs on the spot! We put everything in containers with lids to pass out as our guests drove by and made fresh pico de gallo to top it off. In addition, to my daughter’s favorite flavored strawberry or funfetti cupcakes.

Setting the party aside. I can’t believe Olivia is three. There isn’t a day that my girl doesn’t make me laugh until my belly aches or makes my jaw drop. Her laughter is infectious and she is a constant reminder that happiness comes from within.

Still not sure how time goes by so fast without me even knowing. One thing I am certain is that we are making the most of it.

Olivia’s birthday parade was perfect wind and all. Check out the pictures of the drive thru parade.

A special thanks to my family who helped on that day. Also, to everyone who drove by to celebrate our girl.

Olivia is so precious! Great job on the decor even against the wind. Beautifully themed. Blessings!
