Fall Bucket List For Toddlers

Fall is in full swing, October is behind us. That means it’s time to enjoy the last couple holidays this year will bring.

One of our favorite seasons is fall. One way I want autumn to come to life for my family, in particular my toddlers, is by creating a fall bucket list. I do this so my kids can understand the passage of time and seasons. Also, its a good opportunity for them to appreciate the different things each season brings. Even the types of food that is available in a particular season.

Below is a list of things we want to do. Things that will make us happy, also things that are easy to accomplish, things that won’t break the bank and things that we might forget to do if we hadn’t put them on a list. At the end of the day it’s about creating memories with the little ones and cherishing one another.

These are the things you will find us doing this season:

  1. Make a thankful list.
  2. Jump in a pile of leaves.
  3. Bake a pumpkin treat.
  4. Create a leaf craft.
  5. Read outdoors.
  6. Go on a nature walk.
  7. Collect pinecones.
  8. Go apple picking.
  9. Have a movie night.
  10. Drink hot chocolate.

I am positive there are a more things you could add to this list because there is really so much to love about fall! I would love to hear what ideas you come up with to do with your family.

Here are some pictures of some of the fun things we did last year.
