Let’s be honest. I’m having a hard time grasping the fact that my little baby turned 18 months old one week ago! No longer do I have to use months to say her age. I can now say she’s is one and a half. Still blows my mind how 18 months flew by, but it’s exciting to see Olivia doing and saying new things.
She lives loud and wild. Her laugh is contagious and her cry makes you think she’s getting hurt. She also has the need to explore every space.

She’s not a very picky eater. She eats mostly everything I serve her. However, she would much rather feed herself than have any help. This is a trait she’s had since we started her on solid food at six months. She has always wanted to feed herself.
Olivia loves the outdoors. When we’re home she pulls me to the side door so I could take her outside. If I don’t, she cries and is heartbroken. She loves to play with dirt and will go “swimming” in any body of water. She loves going on bike rides while her sister rides her scooter.

One of her favorite parts of the day is story time. Her and Emma will fight for which story they want me to read next. Olivia is animated as I read the story, she stomps, she counts, she points, sings along, she roars and growls. Sometimes I have to speed read to get to her favorite part. I have a few of her favorite books memorized by now.
Oh! It’s a true wrestling match every time I change her or brush her teeth or wipe her nose. Emma trains her in wrestling when I am not changing her. I am still waiting for those tea parties people warned me about. No one warned me that my kids would wrestle all the time. It drives me a little crazy to be quite honest haha!
So much has happened in the last year and a half that I fear that I have already forgotten, so in the mean time I will continue to cram the cloud with photos and videos of my kids and one day we will be able to look back and see that I wasn’t kidding about anything I’ve said.
