Pumpkin Patch

Josh and I have have been going to the same pumpkin patch every year since we’ve been married. This year was a little more exciting because we got to go with our little Joy.

The first time we took her was two weeks ago and Emma thought it would be a good idea to stay asleep for most of the time. She finally woke up when we were about ready to leave so, on our way out we took a few pictures with her. We knew that we had to take her back a second time.

Taking Emma to the pumpkin patch is much more meaningful to us because last year she must have been a size of a lentil and only Josh and I knew we were going to be parents. On last year’s trip we only imagined and talked about what it would be like “next year”. Here we are! Enjoying taking our little pumpkin out. Although Emma absolutely hates car rides. Many of them have been spent crying, but is happy once she’s off the car. It was no different today. She was glad to have arrived and so were we.

We strolled around letting her see everything there is. We tried staying cool with a refreshing lemonade, but my favorite part was seeing her little face smile as she felt the texture of pumpkins and flowers. It was worth going for a second time.
